Dear Teacher

This time of the year our TV is full of adverts for booking a summer holiday. Perhaps we have that in mind because our latest two podcasts are about London which really is a great place to visit! For level 2 we have Landmarks unvisited where we talk about the top tourist places we haven't seen. For level 1 we have British icons: The Thames, London's famous river has lots to see and do, we really recommend a trip there! If you are going you should also watch our beginners level video London transport and discover the best way to see the capital.

Meanwhile of course our Podcasts of the month have changed so do pop over to the levels pages and have a look at the sidebar. One of our favourites is The dig, a level 3 podcast about the amazing finds under our feet!

There are also Podcasts for April including The Taj Mahal. This is a level 2 pie vid for International Day of Monuments, 18 April. But there are more, do go and have a look!

Remember that while most podcasts are free, podcasts 1 - 99 are for members only. Each podcast has essential transcripts, worksheets and extra materials for teachers and learners and with over 2000 to choose from, Join pie now!

If you are not already a member, one lucky winner in our monthly competition gets free pie membership! Marko from Germany was the lucky winner of last month's competition. He correctly said that the answer was c) the bumper cars.

For this month's quiz just answer this question: Which birds did they see on the border? Were they a) vultures, b) eagles, or c) storks? The answer is in this level 1 video: The trip.

Write your answer on our Contact us page. Remember to tell us your name and where you are from. Good luck! Answers by the end of the month.

Best wishes
