Monthly news from podcastsinenglish.com and Competition Time!
Dear Teacher
Brrr, it's getting colder and darker for us. The clocks have gone back and winter is around the corner. For many this period is very gloomy indeed. But in our new level 3 podcast Dark days, we talk about what makes us feel low and how we can prevent that. Remember we also have a level 3 podcast about how nature can help us when we're feeling down: A walk in the woods.
Meanwhile we have plenty of podcasts for November. We have Thanksgiving... and Black Friday: Richard talks about his time in the United States (November 24 & 25). Others include Black Friday UK and Shop less, live more for Buy Nothing Day, a protest against consumerism, which is also on November 25.There are many more: keep an eye open on the sidebar on the levels pages.
Check out the highlighted Podcasts of the month too: A mouse in the house for level 2 and Liquid gold (it's over 10 years since we did our first olive harvest!). This level 3 podcast also has a pie vid.
Remember that while most podcasts are free, podcasts 1 - 99 are for members only. Each podcast has essential transcripts, worksheets and extra materials for teachers and learners and with over 2000 to choose from, Join pie now!
