Dear Teacher

Hallowe'en and Bonfire night have both come and gone but there are still plenty of special days in November. We have A podcast about poo (World Toilet Day is 19 November) for level 3, and Watching the box (World TV Day is 21 November). But we have more for later in the month so check out the sidebar on the website.

Of course a good way of knowing about all the podcasts for the month is by liking our Facebook page. Leave a comment, we love hearing from our listeners.

Meanwhile in our first podcast for November we talk about some friends who are having a real problem finding somewhere new to live. Find out why in Location, location, location this is for level 3. Also, you may have missed our business podcast Michelin stars which came out October 31. Listen and find out the problems both of getting one, and losing one. (Do you go to Michelin starred restaurants?!)

Look out for more podcasts this month. However, with over 540 podcasts on the site how can you find what you are looking for? Remember we have a set of lists to help you: one for each level and one for Special Days.

Note that while most podcasts are free, podcasts 1 - 75 are for members only. Each podcast has plenty of worksheets and materials which make a ready-made lesson. So why not join pie!

Or, why not enter our monthly competition? The winner gets 3 months free pie membership! Just answer this question:

Which of these is one of Richard's favourite things? Is it a) his telescope, b) a pair of his football boots, or c) his motorbike? The answer is in this level 1 podcast: Favourite things.. Write your answer on our Contact us page. Remember to tell us your name and where you are from. Good luck! Answers by the end of the month.

All the very best.
