Dear Teacher

This Sunday, 11 November, marks the 100th anniversary of the end of The Great War (1914 - 1918). The war killed almost 7 million civilians and 10 million military personnel. Whatever your view on war these people should never be forgotten. We have two podcasts for this. The first is why we also call 11 November Poppy Day and the second has loads of incredible facts about The Great War. These are both for level 2.

Also in November we have a Podcast about Poo (really!) to mark World Toilet Day as well as various podcasts for Thanksgiving, World TV Day, National Tree Week and Buy Nothing Day. We also have a podcast about Black Friday for our business listeners.

Look at the links on the right for our Podcasts of the Month. So we have something for everyone!

Meanwhile, we started the month talking about how our lives are so different from those we see in the cinema. Do you agree there's a difference between Life v film?

Look out for 2 more podcasts this month. And remember to like and share our Facebook posts - it really helps us!

All the very best for teaching English in 2018!
