It's that time of the year so the first thing you must do is look at all the winter / Christmas podcasts on the site. You'll find them listed in the sidebar. Our favourite is A poem for Christmas, a level 1 podcast that encourages learners to use the language they know in a fun way - have a go! There are plenty of others too so check those out. There are other special days in December which we have podcasts for, look out for those featured on our Facebook page.

 

We also have in the sidebar more 'podcasts of the month'. For level 1 we have Winter blues. listen to find out how much we like the season. For level 2, Richard is with Real Madrid supporter Al before a Champions' League match: Real Madrid Then for level 3, Stefano talks about working at the Italian embassy in Diplomatic pass.

 

Meanwhile we start the month with some Mind games. We show that there is more to making up our minds than we think. Then we build up to Christmas with a business podcast about The economics of Christmas. This time of the year is make or break for many companies, can you guess which do better than others?

 

We finish the year with another fun look at a popular Christmas advert. This time the advert is from Marks and Spencer, and has Paddington Bear in it. What do you think of it?
