Dear Learner

 

The last month of the year is finally here, and we can't quite believe it. December of course means one thing for us and you'll find loads of podcasts about Christmas in the sidebar. We hope you enjoy them. Our favourite is Dashing through the snow where we interview the man of the month: Father Christmas! (Really!). We also have Figgy pudding about various Christmas meals eaten throughout the world and A poem for Christmas as we celebrate the time of year with some poetry. Of course as we have been producing podcasts for the last 10 years there are plenty more featured on the sidebar of the website.

 

We also have three podcasts of the month as usual. For level 1 we have Winter blues, for level 2 we have Facts about Cyprus and for level 3 we listen to Stefano talk about life at the Italian Embassy in Diplomatic pass.

 

Meanwhile, we start the month with one of our business podcasts. Many people are booking holidays to go away for the winter, and many are using Airbnb. We discuss the popularity of the company and wonder if it has become a victim of its own success. Our second podcast this month is an interview with Linda. She talks about what she likes about Italy, listen to Forza Italia! and see if you agree. Try the extra worksheet too and see if you can match the food to the region. Our final podcast of the year features one of the most popular Christmas adverts in the UK. It's called Buster the boxer.

 

As always we love hearing from our listeners, especially if you have some suggestions about topics we can cover for our podcasts. So write in with your ideas.
