Dear Teacher

The Euros and Wimbledon are over but the summer of sport continues with The Tour de France and of course the Olympics, for which we have loads of podcasts including Let's go to Rio, Follow the flame and The London Olympics.

However, we have lots of non-sporting podcasts about summer as well so do check out the sidebar for lots of these about the sunniest season.

We also have 3 more 'podcasts of the month'. The first, for level 1, is Portugal: all year round where we talk about interesting places to visit in Portugal. For level 2 we make our own Kyoto Box. Watch the pie video to find out what it is and if it worked. And for level 3 listen to Jo's motors and find out about her experience of cars and driving.

Meanwhile, we start the month with a podcast about the world's favourite flavour, which is Chocolate of course! What are the different kinds and which do we like to eat? Listen to this level 3 podcast and find out.

Don't forget we have a fantastic resource available on our site called Take a text. It's a collection of 30 activities and more that you can do with any text. It's ideal for new and experienced teachers and only 5 Euros. And of course we have loads of other useful resources on our Teachers' page.

Have a great summer (or winter if you're 'down under') and remember to send us any ideas or suggestions for podcasts for the year ahead, we love hearing from you.

Here's to a successful 2016 teaching English.

Best wishes
Jackie and Richard
