Dear Teacher

First of all a very big Happy New Year to all our listeners around the world.

As always our first podcast for the new year is a quiz, except this year it's Richard asking Jackie the questions about 2015. How does Jackie get on? And can you do better than her? Have a listen to No idea!  and find out. this is for level 2.

The Oscars are just around the corner and everyone is in movie mood so we have a video about James Bond. It's called Shaken but not stirred.  This is for level 3.

As it happens we have another podcast about the world's favourite spy - Jackie and Richard give their views on Casino Royale.  And we also discuss the Oscar candidates for 2007 in And the winner is...

Next month is busy for events. Chinese New Year falls on February 8th. We have a number of podcasts including Hot wok! parts 1 and 2  (with videos), and Jackie tells us why she is happy to be a pig in Oink oink!  Mardi Gras is big all over the world especially in Brazil. Listen to Samba sensation  for level 3, and this also includes a video. Don't forget February 14th is St. Valentine's Day. The pie team talk about love idioms in Head over heels.

In the sidebar you'll find our podcasts of the month. For level 1 we have Let it snow which is a video about Londoners having winter fun. For level 2 we talk about Britain's favourite TV doctor: Doctor Who.  And for level 3 we give lots of information about diets and dieting, we can't be the only ones who ate too much over the holiday! Listen to You are what you eat for some help.

Best wishes
Jackie and Richard
