Dear Learner

It's winter which means, at least for us, it's getting very cold and very windy! But where is the windiest place on the planet? For level 3 we have a BBC video, watch Richard Hammond in some very strong winds: Blowin' in the wind

Richard was working in the US one year, for level 1 he talks about his experience of Thanksgiving and Black Friday.

We stay with the Black Friday theme for our business listeners. The big shopping day has come over from the US to the UK so in Black Friday UK we ask how successful it has been.

It's the holiday season of course and for us there's nothing better than sitting down with the family to play a board game. In Whose turn is it? we say why we think they're such a good idea.

Have a look at the sidebar for loads of Christmas podcasts for all levels.

Don't forget our Christmas Special: 25% off a 3 or 6 month subscription. We think a pie subscription makes a great gift, for yourself or a friend!

See you all in 2015!

Best wishes
Jackie and Richard
