Dear Teacher

For us March means we being outside more. This includes being in the garden, you can find out what we like to grow in The veg patch. It also means more walking in the countryside and enjoying the Wild orchids. Watch our pie video to see the ones growing near us.

Remember to always check out the side bar on the level pages for more podcasts of the month, plus podcasts for special days in March. More get added throughout the month so keep a look out there!

We start the month with a business podcast, but as always we think this is appropriate for all listeners. This month we talk about Product placement in films; do you recognise when brands are featured?

Last month we talked about selling our old pickup and buying a new car. Well, we have one now but how are we getting on with driving a modern one? Listen to Techno car and find out! This is for level 3.

Note that while most podcasts are free, podcasts 1 - 75 are for members only. Why not make 2020 your year to learn English and join pie!

There are not only podcasts and worksheets but we also have loads of extra materials for teachers including top tips to help students listen to real conversations and helping them to recognise the key natural features of spoken English. And there's more! All on the Pie plus page.

Or, why not enter our monthly competition? The winner gets 3 months free pie membership! Just answer this question:

For this month's quiz just answer this question: How old are Sue's children, Jack and Joanna? Are they a) 25 and 23; b) 24 and 23; or c) 25 and 21? The answer is in this level 2 podcast: Catching up.

Write your answer on our Contact us page. Remember to tell us your name and where you are from. Good luck! Answers by the end of the month.

All the very best.
