Dear Teacher
With almost 500 podcasts on the site and 1500 worksheets and associated materials there are loads of resources on pie to help plan your classes. And of course we are adding to those resources every month. We started November with a podcast about electric cars, how they work and how popular they are becoming. This is for our business listeners but we think We are electric is for everyone interested in the environment.
Also linked to the environment is our level 3 podcast for this month which is A podcast about poo! Really! We talk about World Toilet Day and why it's important, we hope you do too.
We also have in the sidebar more 'podcasts of the month'. For level 1 we have Household chores (where we talk about those boring jobs you have to do, this is also another pie video) For level 2, Jo talks about some uninvited guests that are making themselves feel at home in A mouse in the house. Then for level 3, Pam tells Jackie all about the nicest part of the UK: Yorkshire.
Remember there is still time to enter this month's competition: How many people tried to blow up the Houses of Parliament? Was it a) 3, b) 13 or c) 30? The answer is in this level 1 podcast and video Bonfire night. When you send your answer don't forget to include your name and where you're from.
As always we love hearing from our listeners, especially if you have some suggestions about topics we can cover for our podcasts. So write in with your ideas!
Here's to a successful time teaching English.
Best wishes
Jackie and Richard
