Dear Teacher

As children this was one of our favourite times of the year. Not only was there Hallowe'en and its Spooky nights but also, a few days later, Bonfire night! We have videos about both these events, the second one is in the sidebar with other podcasts for November. Have a look!

Don't forget that every month we have a competition to win three months pie membership. There is always a simple question to answer. This month we ask:

How many people tried to blow up the Houses of Parliament? Was it a) 3, b) 13 or c) 30? The answer is in this level 1 podcast and video Bonfire night. When you send your answer don't forget to include your name and where you're from.

Meanwhile, there are lots of other special podcasts for November. These include Poppy Day (11th), World TV Day (21st), Thanksgiving (23rd), Buy Nothing Day (24th) and UK national Tree Week (26th - 4th Dec) where we talk about Britain's favourite tree. We hope you enjoy them all.

Our three podcasts of the month are: Household chores (level 1, includes pie video), A mouse in the house (level 2) and British Icons Yorkshire (level 3).

As always we love hearing from our listeners, especially if you have some suggestions about topics we can cover for our podcasts. So write in with your ideas!

Here's to a successful time teaching English.

Best wishes
Jackie and Richard
