Monthly news from podcastsinenglish
Dear Teacher
In January we had a podcast on dieting: You are what you eat for level 3. We continue the theme of dieting for the start of February. This time we look at the 5:2 diet which we have been trying. Listen and find out how successful, or not, this has been for us. This is for level 2.
We also stay with food, but not dieting, for our level 1 podcast this month which celebrates Chinese New Year. Not one but two videos from Ken Hom. Listen to what the key ingredients in chinese cooking are in Hot Wok! part 1 and how to use chopsticks in Hot Wok! part 2. Happy New Year!
For our business listeners we have a podcast about a new way of raising funds for innovative new projects - it's called Crowdfunding. It will be of interest to General English learners as well and there are links in the worksheets to websites which can be used as the basis of projects or webquests. We'll be following this up with some Crowdfunding success stories next month.
Check out the sidebar on the website for loads of Valentine's Day podcasts, there's one on the Six Nations rugby tournament which continues this month and of course the regular podcasts of the month as well.
Remember to enter our monthly competition to win FREE pie membership. It's open to teachers and learners. Just answer the easy question on the pie plus page. Have a go!
Best wishes
