Dear Learner
It has been a very long, hot summer for us and we are looking forward to cooler weather. So we are not sad about seeing the end of the summer, in fact we are very happy in our first podcast for this month which is called That's funny! We talk about what makes us laugh; listen and find out if these things make you laugh too. This podcast is for level 2.
Our second podcast this month is all about dreaming! Richard talks to Jackie about the dreams he has at night. Do you dream? Do you have dreams like Richard? Listen to Dream on and find out! There is also a song with a worksheet for this podcast too, which is for level 1.
Our third podcast this month is for our business listeners, but of course is relevant to everyone. Cars are great polluters, but what is the cleanest fuel and are we looking at the Death of diesel? What do you think? You may want to re listen to our podcast about The VW scandal too.
Every month we update the 'podcasts of the month' in the sidebar, these are podcasts from our archives we think you should listen to again. For level 1 we talk about our last holiday and help you to talk about yours. It's called Nice holiday? (we hope so!). For level 2, Delia talks about living on the island of Mallorca in Le isla bonita. And for level 3 we join Sue in her kitchen as she tells us why she called the fire brigade in Dial 999.
World Tourism Day is 27 September so we have also added some podcasts about this theme. These include an interview with a travel rep, some strange hotels to stay in plus one of our videos we made while on holiday in Cyprus. None of these are to be missed so check out the sidebar and have a listen!
